This rare Staffordshire Cottage depicts the Elephant of Siam at Wombwell's Menageri outside of London.  As part of an Adelphi Theatre  Serio-Comic Indian Burletta Spectacle, the Elephant  breaks the bars from the Prince's window and allows him to escape by sliding down her trunk and back to freedom.  The figure is 6 1/4" High and in mint condition with vivid colors and excellent detail. England, c1840

Fort  With Moat

This Fort has four turrets and a door on the front and back.   Both the front and back are identical with a path decorated with flowers leading to each door.  The Fort is 5 3/4: High.  Condition is excellent.  England, c1850

This is a three storied building within as arbor decorated with pink flowers and green leaves.  There is one chimney, two front doors, and seven windows.  The many roofs are thatched and there is encrusted trim around each roof.  A decoration is on the front of the highest roof.  Condition is excellent.  A Most Unusual Piece.    England, 1850

This is an unusual Staffordshire School House has a bell tower, two chimneys and three doors. The roof is cobalt blue. The School is 5 1/2" long and 7 3/4" High. The School House is in excellent condition with some crazing. England, 1850

This  is an unusual Staffordshire Cottage Double Quill Holder. It has a scalloped base and it is embossed on the top of the base There is encrusted trim on the center roof and the side roofs. There are two entry doors, each approached by a set of stairs. 4 3/4" High and in excellent condition. England

This Staffordshire Cottage has a single chimney and encrusted blue trim on the chimney ,on the edge of the roof,  down the sides of the cottage,   and around the base.  There  are molded flowers on the outside walls.  The cottage is 5 1/2 " High and is in excellent condition.  England, 1850  Please refer to Victorian Staffordshire, Book Two (1835-1875) by A. & G. This Staffordshire Cottage has two chimneys and thirteen windows.  It has a thatched roof and a thatched extension over the first floor.  There is encrusted trim around the chimneys and around the roofs and encrusted decoration on the front green.  Three decorative balls  are on three levels over the front door.  The Cottage is 7" High and in excellent condition. This  is an impressive figure of Castle with two turrets and a clock face above the front door.  There are three lookout windows.  Floral decorations are on either sides of the front door and there is very elaborate bocage trim on the top around the turrets and along the sides and base.  The Castle is 8 3/4" High and condition is excellent.  England, c1850
