Abraham and Isaac

A group figure of Abraham standing about to sacrifice Isaac.  Isaac is laying on a stone which is inscribed "Genesis 22, Abraham Offering up Isaac".  The rectangular base is ornately decorated on all sides. Bocage is behind Isaac and a lamb is at his feet. The figure is 10 ½" tall and condition is excellent.  Sherratt, England,  1830

Staffordshire Religious Figures

This Figure of Saint Peter is titled on the base.  It   depicts Saint Peter with joined hands and  eyes looking upward.  To his left is a Cock standing on a tree stump over a large opened book.   At St Peter's feet are a set of Keys which symbolically are to open the kingdom of heaven.  There are floral decorations on the base and  Walton style five leaf bocage behind the figure.  Figure is 9" High and  the condition is Excellent.    England, 1830

Staffordshire Religious Figures

This figure depicts Samson standing bare-headed, with a short beard, tunic, and a scarf over his left shoulder.  To his left is a lion standing on its hind legs.  Samson is in the act of prying open the lion's mouth with both hands. The figure is 12/1/2" High.  Colors are vivid and the pose is dramatic.  Please refer to Staffordshire Portrait Figures of the Victorian Era by P.D. Gordon Pugh, p419    England,  c, 1850

Staffordshire Religious Figures

This Musician is standing with his right arm extended and holding his wind instrument in his left hand.  He is wearing a plumbed hat a waistcoat, pantaloons and a colorful sash.  Standing next to him is a black and white Spaniel.  This is a very  nicely molded piece and the condition is excellent.  The figure is 9 3/4" High.  England, c1850

Bird Nesters Under A Double Arch

This figure shows a  man and woman standing under a double arch on a bridge. A boat is sailing underneath the bridge. There is  Bocage decoration. The figure is 7 1/2" High, Condition is Excellent.   England, 1860

 The  Cherub has a wreath of flowers on his head. He is holding a yellow basket of flowers. He is wearing a sash outlined in blue with dark red and white stripes.  There is bocage behind the figure.  The figure is 4" High.  England,1820-1830

The Cradle shows a sleeping child with brown polychrome with green dots surrounded with light blue polychrome blanket. Condition is Excellent.  The cradle is 4" long.  England,  1790-1820

Mr. Pickwick has a gray hat, purple waistcoat and blue britches.  Mr. Pickwick is printed on the base. Condition is Excellent.  The figure is 8" High.   England, 1890

Toby Condiment Setva

This Toby Condiment Set has four Tobies, a Pepper, Open Salt, Mustard  and Vinegar. The Tobies are 5 1/4" tall. The Tobies are decorated with a blue willow trim on the base and the hat. These Tobies wear yellow pants and orange to red jackets There are minor restorations, nothing major but well done    England  1830

Uncle Tom and Eva

Uncle Tom is seated on a Bale of Cotton holding a book in his left arm and holding Eva in his right arm. Uncle Tom is wearing a jacket shirt and red & white striped trousers. Eva is standing on Uncle Tom's knee and is wearing a long dress. The vent hole is on the back. The condition is excellent.  The figure is 10 1/2" high.    England, 1861

Uncle Tom and Eva

A figure of  Uncle Tom and Eva seated on a base which is titled in raised capital letters. Uncle Tom is holding Eva on his knee and the legs of both are separated.  The figure is 8 1/2" high The condition is excellent. This Mason Jug is 4 12" high with a  snake handle.  It has an impressed mark. The condition is excellent with a firing crack on handle.  Mason,  England , 1840

Staffordshire Pearlware Toby Jug with a blue waistcoat with orange dot trim and one matching dot trim inside his tricorne hat. He is wearing yellow britches and a matching bow tie. 9 1/4" High Excellent condition. England, 1830

Staffordshire English Bobby Salt Shaker

This Bobby (policeman) stands  6 1/4" High.  His uniform consists of a blue coat with an orange belt and white trousers.  His hat is well formed and he is carrying a night club.  Condition is excellent.  England  1860

This Staffordshire Double Quill Holder depicts a colorful Eagle with his wings  outstretched.  Lying beneath the Bird is a small child.  The Eagle has one of his feet on the child's head.  There is some bocage trim, vibrant colors and fine detail.  The figure is 6 3/4" High and is in excellent condition.     England, c1860
